The Podere joins Generazione Sangiovese, the first movement founded by winegrowers and winery owners from the Tuscan hills, created with the aim of promoting and enhancing the culture of authentic, artisanal Tuscan wine.

A wine born from expertise, experience and passion, rooted in a culture handed down within Tuscan families from generation to generation and now strongly promoted by this new project.

All the producers who are part of Generazione Sangiovese have long been committed to cultivating the noble red grape variety that represents the very essence of Tuscany, as well as being the grape behind some of the region’s most iconic and renowned wines.
Building on this know-how, the wineries involved in the movement have decided to come together to preserve the value of Sangiovese and its territorial identity, countering the risks of homogenisation resulting from increasingly standardised agricultural and production practices.

A union that does not flatten individual productions, but instead enhances their distinctive characteristics, highlighting their craftsmanship, connection to the land and unique expressive identity.
The Podere’s entry into Generazione Sangiovese represents a natural and coherent choice in line with the path that Tenuta Agricola Le Torri will pursue over the coming years. The estate will invest with conviction in enhancing its viticultural heritage and in producing wines capable of telling the story of the territory through authenticity, quality and respect for tradition.

For The Podere, joining this movement means actively contributing to the spread of Sangiovese culture and to the protection of a heritage that belongs to the very identity of Tuscany. It means sharing values, knowledge and experiences with other wineries that believe in sustainable, artisanal viticulture deeply rooted in the territory.

This commitment also finds concrete expression in the estate’s most recent winemaking projects, particularly in Chianti Classico and Chianti Classico Riserva, wines that embody the estate’s production philosophy and its desire to express the authentic character of Sangiovese. These two labels represent an important milestone in the company’s path towards quality growth and testify to its constant pursuit of excellence, from vineyard care to the bottle. “Joining Generazione Sangiovese means becoming part of a community that shares our same vision of wine and territory.

We believe that Sangiovese is much more than a grape variety: it is a cultural heritage to be preserved, narrated and promoted. For this reason, we want to contribute to spreading its culture, continuing to invest in the production of quality wines that can best interpret the identity of the Chianti hills.”

With this membership, the newly opened The Podere affirms its desire to play the role of ambassador for the territory and confirms its commitment to enhancing a winemaking tradition that represents one of the most authentic and recognised expressions of Made in Tuscany in the world.
